Qualified Personnel
|

employees are skill tested before being hired. Personnel are

hire employee's skills and qualifications vary. Thus, they may
or may not be appropriate for the client's need. |

Supervision
|
All employees
are supervised by a Case Manager. The case manager is responsible
for establishing the appropriate level of care, to meet the
client's need. |
There is
no supervision, except by the client or family. |
|
Insurance
|
Concept In
Care covers all liability, workman's compensation and unemployment. |
The client
has to pay for these coverage's on private employees. This is
an addition to the employees wages. This can be up to 30%. |

Taxes
|
Concept In
Care pays all Federal, State, and City taxes. |
The client
is responsible for withholding and, Federal, State, and local
taxes on private employees. This can be up to 21% additional
cost to the client. |

Replacement Caregiver
|
Concepts
In Care provides replacement of all caregivers due to illness,
vacation, emergency or at the client's request 24 hours per
day, 7 days a week. |
The client
must find a replacement for the employee or suffer a gap in
their services. |

Problems
|
Concepts
In Care handles all problems immediately with the least disruption
to the client. |
The client or family must resolve all problems relating to
the private employee.
|
|
Theft
|
Concept In
Care employees are fully insured and bonded. |
The client
or family must resolve all incidents of theft or similar issues
personally. |
|
Orientation
|
Concept In
Care provides in-depth orientation to each employee hired. The
orientation consists of discussing company policy, procedures
conduct, dress code, client rights, grounds for termination
and performance standards. |
The client
or family must provide orientation information and training. |

Changes in the Client's medical condition
|
Concepts
In Care employees are skilled in observation. They are trained
to report any changes or variations in the client's condition
immmediately to the case manager / supervisor. |
Due to the
variation in experience and skill level, private employees may
not be qualified or trained to notice changes in the clients
condition. Delays in proper intervention may create a serious
hazard for client or require hospitalization. |

Cost of Service
|
Concept In
Care's cost is based on the level of care needed by the client.
The cost of service is generally equal or less than cost of
privately hired cost. |
Costs to
hire private employees can be higher than utilizing an agency
due to recruitment costs, taxes, and insurance costs. |
|
Peace of Mind
|
Concepts
in Care is a client advocate. The agency is strictly regulated
by Federal and State guidelines, regarding protection of client's
rights and adhering to performance standards. |
The client
and family must protect themselves and be knowledgeable of their
rights. |
